The online self-service portal of the Integration Foundation allows you to register for Estonian language courses starting in the autumn semester. A total of 535 places are open for enrolment in 49 different courses at levels A1–C1. The courses are free and meant for adults from the age of 18.
Face-to-face language courses take place in nine cities: Tartu, Pärnu, Valga, Tapa, Sillamäe, Jõhvi, Kohtla-Järve, Tallinn, and Narva. A total of 39 language courses will take place in those cities. In addition, there will be ten online courses which allow participation from all over Estonia. The courses will start on 29 August.
The courses are open for registration via the self-service portal of the website of the Integration Foundation integratsioon.ee. Registration is open until all places are filled or until the start of the course.

‘In the self-service environment, Estonian language courses and events for language practice offered by the Foundation can be selected according to the appropriate language level, location, or time. Users can register for services in the self-service portal and the system will also send reminders about upcoming services. Each self-service portal user will have an overview of the learning activities that they have completed, their results, and the events planned for the future,’ explains Jana Tondi, Head of Language Studies of the Integration Foundation.
To enter the self-service portal, users must identify themselves with an Estonian ID-card, Mobile-ID, or Smart-ID.
The counsellors of the foundation can help people who do not have access to the self-service portal choose language-learning opportunities and register for them – call 800 9999 free of charge or send an email to info@integratsiooniinfo.ee.
The courses are held at training partners selected within the framework of the procurement of the Integration Foundation and in Estonian language houses.
In the spring semester of 2022, 1,200 people completed the Estonian language course and another 540 people started their studies in the summer. The autumn semester courses are aimed at 655 people who have completed counselling services and have registered as clients in the self-service.
At the end of September, the Integration Foundation will also open registration courses in Lüganuse, including in Kiviõli, and in Lääne-Harju municipality in Paldiski.
